A salt producer since 1856, Compagnie des Salins du Midi et des Salines de l'Est is an independent, family-owned French group, and Europe's leading manufacturer of sea salt. With several salt works in Africa and Europe, it produces over 4 million tonnes of salt (sea or refined) a year, sold locally and internationally.

The group is widely recognized through its brands (La Baleine, Le Saunier de Camargue, Fournisel, Salinor...) and boasts unique know-how as a salt producer.

Compagnie des Salins du Midi has one of the widest ranges of salts dedicated to the food-processing industries, to meet their specific needs.
